Strongly deplores the execution of Uladzislau Kavalyou and Dzmitry Kanavalau despite continuous domestic and international protests and calls on the Belarusian authorities to release the bodies of the two men to their families for burial; calls on the Belarusian authorities to immediately introduce a moratorium on the death penalty;

flowers, wreaths and other ornamental objects brought by persons resident outside the Community, attending a funeral or coming to decorate graves on the territory of the Community provided these importations do not reflect, by either their nature or their quantity, any commercial intent.

Insofar as they constitute a single service, services supplied in the framework of organising a funeral shall fall within the scope of Article 9(1) of Directive 77/388/EEC.

Where various services supplied in the framework of organising a funeral form a part of a single service, the rule on the place of supply should also be determined.
