eliminerà i dazi su molti formaggi come il Gouda e il Cheddar (attualmente pari a 29,8 %) e sulle esportazioni di vino (attualmente pari a 15 % in media); consentirà all'UE di aumentare in modo consistente le esportazioni di carni bovine verso il Giappone, mentre per quanto riguarda le carni suine, sarà esente da dazi il commercio di carni trasformate e quasi esente da dazi il commercio di carni fresche; garantirà la protezione in Giappone di oltre 200 prodotti agricoli europei di alta qualità, le cosiddette indicazioni geografiche (IG), e assicurerà la protezione di una serie di IG giapponesi nell'UE.
scrap duties on many cheeses such as Gouda and Cheddar (which currently are at 29.8%) as well as on wine exports (currently at 15% on average); allow the EU to increase its beef exports to Japan substantially, while on pork there will be duty-free trade in processed meat and almost duty-free trade for fresh meat; ensure the protection in Japan of more than 200 high-quality European agricultural products, so called Geographical Indications (GIs), and will also ensure the protection of a selection of Japanese GIs in the EU.
