1. Nel caso in cui sia stato prescritto ad una nave il fermo in un porto a norma dell'articolo 5, l'autorità competente dello Stato membro informa il comandante, il proprietario o l'armatore della nave, le autorità dello Stato di bandiera o dello Stato di immatricolazione della nave o le autorità consolari, oppure, in mancanza di queste, la rappresentanza diplomatica più vicina di tale Stato dei risultati delle ispezioni di cui all'articolo 4, delle decisioni dell'ispettore o delle eventuali misure correttive richieste.
1. In the event that a ship is prohibited from leaving the port pursuant to Article 5, the competent authority of the Member State shall inform the master, the owner or operator, the administration of the flag State or the State where the ship is registered or the Consul, or in his absence the nearest diplomatic representative of the State, of the results of the inspections referred to in Article 4, of any decisions taken by the inspector and of corrective actions required, if necessary.
