[12] In 1992 Croatian President Tudjman and Yugoslav President Cosic reached an agreement to withdraw Yugoslav army (JNA) from Prevlaka peninsula and the Bay of Kotor, and a UN Mission of Observers (UNMOP) was established on 1 February 1996 to demilitarise this area.
