2. Il Consiglio RICONOSCE che i mercati dei derivati hanno dimensione globale e che è necessario assicurare la parità di condizioni, come convenuto dai leader del G-20 nella riunione del 25 settembre 2009, in cui hanno esortato a migliorare i mercati dei derivati over the counter (OTC), ovvero: al massimo entro la fine del 2012 tutti i contratti di derivati OTC standardizzati dovranno essere negoziati in borsa o, se del caso, su piattaforme elettroniche di negoziazione e compensati con controparti centrali.
2. The Council RECOGNISES the global dimension of derivatives markets and the need for a level playing field, as agreed by G-20 leaders at their meeting on 25 September 2009, where they called i.a. for: " Improving over-the-counter derivatives markets: All standardized OTC derivative contracts should be traded on exchanges or electronic trading platforms, where appropriate, and cleared through central counterparties by end-2012 at the latest.
