In quest'ottica, la proposta della Commissione concernente il nuovo programma quadro comunitario di RST (2002-2006) prevede un rafforzamento delle attività nel campo delle risorse umane, in relazione soprattutto alla formazione e alla mobilità. La nuova dotazione di bilancio è stata praticamente raddoppiata rispetto al Quinto programma quadro e si sono moltiplicate le possibilità di ottenere dei contributi, prevedendo numerosi casi particolari, particolarmente interessanti per le regioni svantaggiate (ad esempio i contributi di reinserimento).
For this to happen, the Commission's proposal for the new Community RTD Framework Programme (2002-2006) foresees an increased activity in the area of Human Resources focusing on training and mobility, by almost doubling the previous budget foreseen for the same purpose in the 5th Framework Programme and by multiplying the opportunities for grants, covering many specific cases, particularly interesting for the less favoured regions (as it is the case with the re-integration grants).
