Il 16 febbraio 2012, il Parlamento europeo ha adottato una risoluzione[13] in cui invita il governo ungherese a rispettare le raccomandazioni, le obiezioni e le richieste della Commissione europea, del Consiglio d’Europa e della Commissione di Venezia, e chiede alla Commissione europea, in qualità di custode dei trattati, di monitorare attentamente le possibili modifiche e l’attuazione di dette leggi e la loro conformità alla lettera e allo spirito dei trattati europei.
On 16 February 2012, it adopted a resolution[13] calling on the Hungarian government to comply with the recommendations, objections and demands of the European Commission, the Council of Europe and the Venice Commission and calling on the European Commission, the guardian of the Treaties, to monitor closely the possible amendments and the implementation of the said laws and their compliance with the letter and spirit of the European treaties.
