When a recorded division is taken on an item of Private Members’ Business, the vote of the Member sponsoring the bill or motion is recorded first, if he or she is present, followed by the votes of the other Members on the same side of the House, starting with the back row, who are in favour of the bill or motion and then the Members on the other side of the House, starting with the back row, who are in favour of the item.
Dans le cas d’un vote par appel nominal sur une initiative parlementaire, on inscrit d’abord le vote du député qui parraine le projet de loi ou la motion, s’il est présent à ce moment, puis les votes des autres députés du même côté de la Chambre qui sont en faveur, en commençant par la dernière rangée; on inscrit ensuite le vote des députés de l’autre côté de la Chambre qui sont en faveur de l’initiative, en commençant par la dernière rangée.
