In concrete terms, the new simplified rules of participation and dissemination should aim to reduce the average time to grant by 100 days as compared to the situation in 2011 as outlined in the Commission Communication of 30 November 2011 to the European Parliament, the Council, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions "Horizon 2020 - The Framework Programme for Research and Innovation".
