In view of the international conventions against the use of biological, chemical and other diabolical weapons of destruction, I will recommend that the use of land mines in warfare be considered on the agenda of the Canadian foreign affairs and defence policy review which this government is preparing to launch very shortly.
Étant donné les conventions internationales contre l'utilisation d'armes biologiques et chimiques et d'autres armes diaboliques, je recommanderai que l'utilisation de mines terrestres soit inscrite à l'ordre du jour de l'examen de la politique des affaires étrangères et de la politique de défense du Canada que le gouvernement s'apprête à amorcer.
