As an aside, one can only imagine the reaction, leaving aside for the moment the fate of Bill C-28, had the Senate overturned the Speaker's ruling, thereby declaring that it would henceforth examine and take upon itself to regulate the internal proceedings of the House of Commons.
Incidemment, on peut seulement imaginer quelle aurait été la réaction, mettant de côté pour l'instant le sort du projet deloi C-28, si le Sénat avait renversé la décision de la présidence, déclarant ainsi que désormais, il examinerait et réglementerait la procédure interne de la Chambre des communes.
