In the same declaration, the Union, its Member States, Croatia and Iceland also stated, in line with Article 4(1) of the Kyoto Protocol which allows parties to fulfil their commitments under Article 3 of the Kyoto Protocol jointly, that Article 3(7 ter) of the Kyoto Protocol will be applied to the joint assigned amount pursuant to the agreement on joint fulfilment by the Union, its Member States, Croatia and Iceland and will not be applied to any Member State, Croatia or Iceland individually.
Dans la même déclaration, l'Union, ses États membres, la Croatie et l'Islande ont également déclaré, conformément à l'article 4, paragraphe 1, du protocole de Kyoto qui permet à des parties de remplir conjointement leurs engagements prévus à l'article 3 du protocole de Kyoto, que l'article 3, paragraphe 7 ter, du protocole de Kyoto s'appliquerait à la quantité attribuée conjointement, conformément à l'accord sur les engagements à remplir conjointement par l'Union, ses États membres, la Croatie et l'Islande, et qu'il ne s'appliquerait pas aux États membres, à la Croatie ou à l'Islande pris individuellement.
