where, prior to the occurrence of the incapacity for work, the person concerned last exercised an activity as a self-employed person within the meaning of Article 1(b), in accordance with the provisions laid down in the Wet arbeidsongeschiktheidsverzekering zelfstandigen (WAZ) (Law on Incapacity for Work relating to self-employed persons) if the incapacity for work occurred before 1 August 2004 .
