However, by way of exception to this procedure, in the case of vessels constructed specially to a single order in very small numbers or vessels designed for a complex installation manufactured in accordance with the information and specifications provided by the customer or a consultancy bureau appointed by him, an inspection body in the Member State of origin shall be chosen by the customer, whether or not included on the list referred to in Article 13, provided the recipient administration agrees to the choice.
Toutefois, par exception à cette procédure, lorsqu'il s'agit d'un appareil construit spécialement à la suite d'une seule commande en un très petit nombre d'exemplaires ou d'appareils destinés à une installation complexe exécutés conformément aux données et spécifications émanant du client, ou d'un bureau d'études désigné par celui-ci, l'organisme de contrôle est choisi par le client dans l'État d'origine conformément ou non à la liste visée à l'article 13, à condition que l'administration de destination marque son accord sur ce choix.
