In order to avoid omissions and mistakes in the verification by the notified bodies of the important aspects of clinical evaluation or, in the case of in vitro diagnostic medical devices, of performance evaluation, and with regard to the post-market clinical follow-up, or, in the case of in vitro diagnostic medical devices, to post-market follow up, it is important to provide specific advice with regard to the control of those requirements.
Afin d’éviter toute omission ou erreur lors de la vérification, par les organismes notifiés, des éléments importants de l’évaluation clinique, ou, dans le cas des dispositifs médicaux de diagnostic in vitro, de l’évaluation des performances, mais aussi en ce qui concerne le suivi clinique après commercialisation, ou, dans le cas des dispositifs médicaux de diagnostic in vitro, le suivi après commercialisation, il est important de formuler des orientations spécifiques aux fins du contrôle de ces exigences.
