nine experts with acknowledged competence and guaranteed independence proposed by the Steering Committee, who shall represent a wide range of experiences and skills and who shall be approved by the General Board for a four-year, renewable mandate in carrying out their responsibilities, the persons nominated shall neither seek nor take instructions from any Government, institution, body, office, entity or private person; they shall refrain from any action incompatible with their duties or the performance of their tasks ;
