What surprised me nevertheless in the article, aside from the fact that there are no subsidies for the pork industry there, is that it said that a sow in Denmark produces 28.1 weanling pigs per year, whereas a sow in Canada only produces 22 weanlings a year, a difference of 37 per cent. How do you explain that?
Ce qui m'a quand même surpris dans l'article, outre le fait qu'il n'y a pas de subvention à l'industrie porcine, c'est qu'on indiquait qu'une truie du Danemark produisait 28,1 porcelets sevrés par année, alors qu'une truie au Canada ne produit que 22 porcelets sevrés par année, ce qui signifie une différence de 37 p. 100. Comment peut-on expliquer ça?
