Tout au long du week-end, le Conseil, la Présidence espagnole, la Commission - plus particulièrement le commissaire Kallas, que je remercie pour sa détermination et tout le travail qu’il a abattu pendant cette période - et Eurocontrol ont travaillé afin d’apporter une réaction plus ciblée et beaucoup plus appropriée à ce qui était déjà en train de devenir une crise de plus longue durée et qui commençait à avoir de très graves conséquences pour l’ensemble de l’Union européenne et des autres pays.
Throughout the weekend, the Council, the Spanish Presidency, the Commission – most particularly Commissioner Kallas, whom I thank for his willingness and hard work throughout this period – and Eurocontrol have been working to prepare a much more precise, much more appropriate reaction to what was already becoming a more lasting crisis, which was beginning to have very serious effects on the whole of the European Union and beyond.
