Welcomes the Commission’s proposal in its Green Paper to introduce an IMI alert mechanism for competent authorities to share information regarding health professionals; urges the Commission to ensure that Member States are obliged to immediately and proactively inform each other when regulatory action is taken against health professionals’ registration or their right to provide services;

On 17 November 2005 the Commission adopted a Green Paper on a European programme for critical infrastructure protection which provided policy options on the establishment of the programme and the Critical Infrastructure Warning Information Network.
