As such, I thought it best to structure my brief opening comments in the following manner: first, a quick overview of the markets we operate, providing a foundation for my perspective as the representative of a market operator; second, some statistics and numbers on hedge funds as they trade on our markets, primarily the TSX, our senior market; and, third, a few thoughts on the trends we are seeing in trading that pertain to your study of hedge funds.
