Les travaux du Comité ont permis de créer, au sein du ministère de la Sécurité publique (MSP), la table de concertation portant sur la gestion des menaces nucléaires, biologiques, radiologiques et chimiques (NBRC).
Not long after these events, the governments of Quebec and the state of New York decided to establish the Quebec-New York Committee, a working group to examine new measures to be adopted for communications and security in emergency situations.The work of the committee led to the establishment, within the Ministry of Public Safety, of the roundtable on management of nuclear, biological, radiological and chemical threats.
