considerando che l'Afghanistan è parte di diverse convenzioni internazionali per la tutela dei diritti delle donne e dei bambini, in particolare la Convenzione delle Nazioni Unite del 1979 sull'eliminazione di tutte le forme di discriminazione contro le donne e la Convenzione ONU del 1989 sui diritti del fanciullo, e che la Costituzione afghana, all'articolo 22, stabilisce che i cittadini dell'Afghanistan, uomini e donne, hanno uguali diritti e doveri dinanzi alla legge; che il Codice afghano della famiglia è attualmente in fase di revisione al fine di armonizzarlo con la Costituzione,
