Quando si svolge una votazione per alzata di mano può accadere una situazione simile, non spesso, ma di tanto in tanto, e solo di tanto in tanto, o perché i deputati non alzano la mano, o perché c’è confusione o, ancora, perché la presidenza commette un errore quando valuta il risultato di una votazione. Pertanto se ciò dovesse succedere, ripetutamente di nuovo , un deputato chiederà una verifica e di conseguenza il Presidente annuncerà una votazione per appello nominale risolvendo così la situazione.
When voting by show of hands it may so happen, not often but from time to time, and only from time to time, that either because MEPs do not raise their hands or because there is some confusion, the presidency makes a mistake when assessing the outcome of a vote. Should that happen then, again frequently, an MEP will request verification and as a result the President holds a roll-call vote to that end and the situation is resolved.
