1. The EIB and the EIF may participate, in accordance with the modalities laid down in their statutes, in the programming of assistance from the Funds.

The Audit Board, as an oversight body, confirms annually that, to the best of its knowledge and judgement, the operations of EIF have been carried out in compliance with the Statutes and the Rules of Procedure, and that the financial statements give a true and fair view of the financial position of EIF as regards its assets and liabilities, and of the results of its operations for the financial year under review.

The EIF s authorities, in accordance with its Statutes, have indicated their willingness to administer the resources of the proposed Guarantee Fund.
