Last week, the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board brought down a decision which approved a load retention rate which will keep a number of important gas producers using the Nova system, rather than supporting the construction of the Palliser Pipeline which would have extended eastwards through central Alberta and into Saskatchewan to connect with the TransCanada and Foothills interprovincial transmission systems.
L'Alberta Energy and Utilities Board a rendu une décision dans laquelle il a approuvé un rabais de fidélité qui permettra de conserver un nombre important de producteurs de gaz pour le réseau Nova. Il n'a pas accordé son appui à la construction du pipeline Palliser qui se serait étendu vers l'est en passant par l'Alberta centrale et la Saskatchewan pour aller rejoindre les réseaux de transmission inter provinciaux TransCanada et Foothills.
