1 (1) Le gouverneur en conseil peut accorder à Monsieur le juge Donald Raymond Morand, un juge de la Cour suprême de l’Ontario qui a exercé ses fonctions durant plus de quinze ans mais n’a pas atteint l’âge de soixante-cinq ans, s’il résigne sa fonction pour assumer la charge d’Ombudsman de l’Ontario, une pension à jouissance immédiate égale à la pension maximale qui pourrait lui être accordée en vertu de l’article 23 de la Loi sur les juges s’il avait atteint l’âge de soixante-cinq ans avant la date de sa démission.
1 (1) The Governor in Council may grant to the Honourable Mr. Justice Donald Raymond Morand, a judge of the Supreme Court of Ontario who has continued in office for more than fifteen years but has not attained the age of sixty-five years, if he resigns his office to assume the office of Ombudsman of Ontario, an immediate annuity equal to the maximum annuity that could be granted to him under section 23 of the Judges Act if he had attained the age of sixty-five years before the day on which he so resigns.
