Et si jamais le gouvernement devait maintenir les dispositions qui sont à l'article 810.2, lui qui aime tant les renvois à la Cour suprême, je pense qu'avant d'émettre un décret faisant entrer la loi en vigueur, ce projet de loi devrait être référé à la Cour suprême pour obtenir un avis relativement à la constitutionnalité de l'article 810.2 et les suivants par rapport à notre Charte canadienne des droits et libertés, particulièrement aux articles 11d) et 11h) de la Charte canadienne des droits et libertés.
And should the government ever decide to maintain the provisions in section 810.2-a government that is so fond of making references to the Supreme Court-I think that before issuing an order in council for the coming into force of this bill, the bill should be referred to the Supreme Court for an opinion on the constitutionality of section 810.2 and following, in the light of our Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and, more specifically, sections 11(d) and 11(h) of the Charter.
