La notifica si considera ritirata se le informazioni chieste non sono fornite entro il termine stabilito nella domanda, a meno che, prima della scadenza, tale termine non sia stato prorogato con il consenso della Commissione e degli organi di notificazione, ovvero gli organi di notificazione non abbiano informato la Commissione, con una comunicazione debitamente motivata, di considerare completa la notifica.

4. A receiving agency receiving a document for service but not having territorial jurisdiction to serve it shall forward it, as well as the request, to the receiving agency having territorial jurisdiction in the same Member State if the request complies with the conditions laid down in Article 4(3) and shall inform the transmitting agency accordingly, using the standard form in the Annex.
