La pena capitale esprime tutta la barbarie di un’organizzazione sociale che, anche nel paese più ricco del mondo, condanna a morte bambini e adolescenti, i quali, per il solo fatto di aver avuto la sfortuna di nascere in un quartiere povero, periscono per l'abuso di sostanze stupefacenti o per l'insicurezza dovuta alla povertà morale e materiale.
The death penalty expresses all the barbarity of a society organised in a way that also condemns so many children and adolescents, even in the richest country in the world, to die from drug use or insecurity, actually from material and moral poverty, simply because they had the misfortune to be born in a poor area.
